Ward Bekker Multihead Weighing Machines are now manufactured in the new Prins UK Ltd factory. The newly developed round stepper Multihead is constructed modularly for better hygiene and greater flexibility. When linked with the apex checkweigher the accuracy can be improved by trend feedback.
We also design and produce an inline range capable of handling long piece products such as asparagus and runner beans. Perversely know as the Combiweigh we became a well know manufacturer of high quality, reliable weighing and packaging equipment.

The weighing of long product pieces presents particular difficulties i.e. blockage and feeding problems. We have now developed our special MLC 8/16 long product multihead specially designed for handling products up to 400mm long. This machine takes product from a bulk supply, and by using separating and 'streaming' techniques, the product is weighed with a high degree of accuracy. Alignment is maintained during the weighing process, enabling it to be easily collated prior to discharging into trays or form fill seal bags. The 'gentle handling' design reduces damage on breaded and delicate products such as frozen fish fillets. Speeds up to 200 pieces/min can be achieved with piece counts down to as few as two.
